Dean’s Behavioral Economics Laboratory (DBEL) is committed to performing cutting-edge research in behavioral and experimental economics. Applications vary and include Congestion Pricing in Transportation, Risk Management in Wild Fire Prevention, Financial Risk Management by Poor Working Households, and Health Seeking Behavior in Less Developed Countries. We collect data in laboratory environments, in the field, and using virtual reality simulation environments. Our mobile simulator configurations have allowed us to bring the simulators to our field participants, therefore reaching a broader population.
We are located on the 8th floor of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at 35 Broad Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30303 in room 840.
